The norwegian government has initiated a provess towards an integrated management plan for the Norwegian Sea. This report constitutes an important part of the description of underlying facts and knowledge and includes: a. Description of the environment and natural resources in the Norwegian Sea. B. Identification of areas of particular value. C. Areas of importance for fisheries, the petroleum industry, and the shipping sector.
