Abstract

The paper discusses the main results of many years of research into spawning conditions and embryonic and larval developmenr of the White Sea cod, i.e., peculiaritres in morphogenesis, in the formation, structure and functioning of the digestlve system, increase of protein and utilization of yolk substances. It presents results of experimental work on the effects of temperature on the character of morphogenetic and metabolic processes in developing cod eggs.
