Abstract
The report sumarizes the results from current measurements carried out between the
Central and Great Banks in the Barents Sea. The moorings were deployed in mid
September 1991 and were recovered more than one year later. The residual currents
had an eastward component most of the year. The current speed showed a clear
seasonal variability, with highest speed during the winter season, and a much lower
speed during summer.
