Undersøkelser i Nordsjøen, Skagerrak og Kattegat i 1977

Abstract

This report concerns seven surveys made during the period 9 February - 15 December 1977. The development of characteristic features of the physical environment throughout the year is demonstrated. Primary production is described for spring, summer and late autumn situations. Seasonal trends in fish distribution, particularly juveniles, are discussed, being based on acoustic and trawl surveys. Plankton samples were collected during some surveys to cover the spawning areas of Norway pout and mackerel.
