The crab investigations off the coast of Nordland, which started in 1975, continued in 1976 and were carried out from 15 August to 15 October in the area between Helgelandsflesa and Otervær. The results showed that the optimum concentrations of crabs were found in the southern part of the investigated area where the catch was up to 4.56 crabs per trap per day.
