Miljøundersøkelse i norske fjorder 1975 - 1993

Abstract

The Institute of Marine Research have monitored the environmental conditions in about 27 Norwegian fjord regions since 1975. In this report we will describe the temperature, salinity, oxygen and inorganic nutrient conditions during late autumn in Lysefjord, Høgsfjord and Boknafjord in the Rogaland region. The observations indicate no long term decrease in oxygen consentrations nor increase in nutrient consentrations inside the fjord basins during the period 1975 (81)-1993. The next report will be from the Finnmark region in northern Norway.
