Skreiinnsiget i Lofoten i 1973

Abstract

In the period 13 February to 2 March 1973 three surveys were made with R.V. «Peder Rønnestad» in the Lofoten area. The distribution of the spawning Arctic cod was charted and is presented on three figures. The abundance of cod increased from one survey to the next, and it is believed that the main immigration of Arctic cod took place during the period in which the surveys were carried out.
