Total echo abundance of saithe decreased by 10 % compared to 2009 to the lowest level since 1997. The indices for all age groups except 3-year olds were well below the average. The number of coastal cod decreased for all age groups, except for 1-2 years old. There are only small signs of improved recruitment. The acoustic spawning stock biomass is at the same low level as in previous years.
