Abstract
Dataset for "Genetic analyses verify sexually mature escaped farmed Atlantic cod and farmed cod eggs in the natural environment" published in Evolutionary Applications, a Wiley journal.
The information consists of an excel file containing genetic data for 523 cod individuals (adults and eggs) genotyped at 20 microsatellite loci. Individuals are distributed into samples like this:
140 farmed fish (Farm_M1, Farm_M2 and Farm_M4)
71 escapees
145 wild fish (WildAdult_1 and WildAdult_2)
167 eggs distributed into:
120 eggs with wild genetic profile (Egg_1_Wild and Egg_2_Wild)
46 eggs with farmed genetic profile (Egg_1_Farmed and Egg_2_Farmed)
1 egg of potentially hybrid origin
