Vurdering av Naturindekser i Norge med fokus på de marine indikatorene - Status og videre planer

Abstract

The aim of this report is to state the progress of the work at IMR to develop further the marine bases for the database of Nature indexes of Norway. Time series on krill and amphiopds are being analysed, as well as papers prepared for a critically discuss a set of selected, implemented methods and models for diversity indexing and nature condition indices, their use of indicators and indeces in ecosystem-based management and their purposes. Each of them will be given a thorough presentation and in-depth discussion. In other word, how much can information be aggregated and still give meaningful information, how much information loss can be tolerated, in relation to the purposes of the analyses.
