Abstract
This paper gives the geographical distribution and the migrations of
the 1983 year class of Norwegian spring spawning herring in the period
1983-1989. These migrations are compared with herring migrations of
earlier periods. Further, the acoustic abundance estimates of this
year class is reviewed.
