Report of the international 0-group fish survey in the Barents Sea and adjacent waters in August-September 2000

Abstract

The thirty-sixth annual International 0-group Fish Survey was conducted during the period 10 August - 6 September 2000 in the Barents Sea and adjacent waters. Preliminary analysis of the survey data were made on board the "G.O. Sars" and "AtlantNIRO" and the final report was finished by correspondence. Observations concerning the geographical distribution of 0-group fish and their abundance are given in this report together with a brief description of the hydrographical conditions in the survey area.
