dc.description.abstract	The first systematic health survey of commercially exploited flat oysters (Ostrea edulis) has been carried out since 1989. The survey was performed on two important broodstocks in traditional oyster-production areas. No abnormal mortalities was registered, nor was any serious pathogen agent detected. Based on the results, some advice for monitoring and management of the stocks has been outlined.	no_NO
