Mapping and surveillance of the invasive species pacific oyster are important elements to be able to choose the right management decisions. Collecting of pacific oysters along the coast will be very expensive and can based on our judgment, only be done in selected localities. If stock development increases, an alternative is commercial harvesting. But this will demand a close cooperation between environmental and fishery government, commercial companies and the population along the Norwegian coastnb_NO
